I just want to know why single line edit objects can't be transparent though <img src="/center/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Here we go... Easy really

It's a clickteam problem not a windows problem

1) Set Password
2) Set Multiline
3) Set Transparent
4) Set not Multiline

Tried that and the background of the edit box is black <img src="/center/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

the transparent backround is updated every time you send an event to the object so at "start of level" set text "" or sumthing &amp; it should work
