Internet Radio in MMF?

Someone asked me if I could implement such a feature into the game im making currently.

Any ideas on how I would go about doing this?

if you open a link to a radio site in an Active X Web browser it should work - you would have to to enter usernames & passwords manually though.

Can't DirectShow just do it?
I'm pretty sure it can receive audio streams from the web.

it can play mpgs and stream them from a site but it cannot play an asx or pls and stream it from a shoutcast or windows media stream

Thats odd, considering that DirectShow *should* play anything Windows Media Player is capable of playing.

Hmm... well, I'm sure there's a Win32 commandline based radio that you could use.

Could you use the WMP active x to do it? It should just play aything WMP can <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
