    Re: 360 problem

[]I got this object which circles around another object.

This may sound strange, but I want the circle (it uses Alterable Value A to set it's angle) to go the closest direction of the pressed button.

IE: Pressing up and the object is to the left, it takes the right turn to the top and not the left turn.

    Please help :3 [/]

    This is a zoning problem.

If up key pressed and object on LHS then rotate object clockwise.

If up key pressed and object on RHS then rotate object anti-clockwise.

If up key pressed and object at bottom then (You decide how to handle this maybe random)

If up key pressed and object at top then do nothing.

The same goes for the down key pressed except the opposite.

You have an options to use groups or flags to control the actions. Its up to you.

But if the object is to the right? That wouldn't make it go the fastest way around.

No one is replying because you've already been told:

[]If up key pressed and object on LHS (left-hand side) then rotate object clockwise (right).

If up key pressed and object on RHS (right-hand side) then rotate object anti-clockwise (left).

If up key pressed and object at bottom then (You decide how to handle this maybe random)

If up key pressed and object at top then do nothing.

The same goes for the down key pressed except the opposite.[/]
