    Active Picture Object limitation.

Im using the Active Picture Object in a game im making to create the map that the player moves around in, it has been very useful so far but ive run into a problem when making the Active Picture Object create a backdrop that gets displayed above the player, I have a feeling this is to do with APO being unable to create a backdrop on a specific layer.

I sent an email to Jeff and he told me to post a thread on the forums.

I would like it if other people expressed their intrest in fully bringing APO up to MMF2 standards.

Yes, the Active Picture object only creates backdrop objects in its own layer. Can't you move the APO to the other layer before using the Create Backdrop action?

I just tryed replicating the result I had before, oddly I couldnt even add the backdrop to the second layer, I am fairly certain I mananged to do that before.

This may be of some interest.

Its what I made when attempting to replicate the results I had before.

This time I was unable to create backdrops on the second layer.

    ?

Your example works fine. Which build of MMF2 do you use?
