    Zooming Text in a box - like Jeopardy game show

    hello. I'm trying to make a user-customizable "Jeopardy style" game, but I'm stumped on how to have the box of text zoom from a small square on the screen to full screen. I've tried using a Sub-app (which would be ideal!) but I can't zoom the actual Sub-app... and using a transition isn't the answer. Any ideas?

    i don't know what Jeopardy is but if this "box" contains just text then use an active system box and resize it whilst increasing the font size. With a subapp you can use the Window Control Object inside the subapp frame to resize it

    if I could get the text to be changed by the user, I'd do this... but I can't find a way to replace the text.

    I've tried this, too, but it doesn't have the "zoom" effect. In other words, the text doesn't start small and grow to regular size. The whole window does, but it's more like a "wipe" transition instead of a "zoom" transition.

    Replace the text? The user can change the text by using an editbox to insert the value and then "set text: Eddittext$"

    Check "Resize window frame to window size"
    As i said before, you can also increase the size of the text as you increase the size of the window

    gosh! I didn't even see the "set text" actions... I was looking in the Text list in the top section of actions. thanks so much! I'll work on this....
