Massive Multiplayer MOO Test (7000+ notified)

    Hey guys,
Im in a hurry because i forgot to post this news.
    OK, here is the story:
MaxxGames Inc is going to launch a Massive Multiplayer Test to test the power of the MOO API and its servers.
7000+ online gamers have been notified and a large ammount signed up for the test.
    Partners: Fantasaar, Pokemon Online

You can be part of this big event on September 21, 2006 20:00 GMT:
    http://www.fantasaar.com/mootest/
(2morrow people can download the testing game.)

We expect about 100+ people online at the same time.
    >>IF<< we get that far,
because i strongly doubt the power of MOO API when it comes to large numbers.

    Lets find out!

Are you crazy? You should be using a server that has a decent server level upload speed! Helper3k uses a home connection upload speed (if im not mistaken n_K).

That could be the bottleneck of this test...

Hm I have more than 60 players in my MMORPG daily so why not 100.. It depends on coding-my server sends only items which your character can see, the same with other players. Saves a lot of bandwitch..
