Extensions not working

I recently purchased MMF2 (standard) and tried installing some extensions in the runtime and extensions folder as applicable, yet only one or two extra extensions actually load and work!

When I choose to use an extension "from file(s)" on the insert object form, I open the extension but the OK button is greyed out and I can't use them.

Please help!

Which extensions are you trying to use?
Could be that you're trying to use Dev only extensions, or MMF1.5 extensions..

kcmouse.mfx wont work, nor will bigbox.mfx

Try just looking thru the object list for the extensions and not using the "From files" button. Those extensions should just appear in the list if you have installed them correctly and they are in the correct folders.

yeah, they don't show up which is why I had to try the from files option :\

I've tried putting each extension/runtime file into both folders but still no luck! <img src="/center/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Have you restarted MMF since you copied them over?

Did the bonus pack 1 and 2 extensions show up?
Something odd is going on - This is the first report of anyone having problems with these extensions. I don't know what could be the reason.

The extensions form the bonus packs all show up but not all of them work

tried restarting and re-installing mmf2 as well.

Is there any way of using mmf1.5's .cox files instead? :\

Thats something new no one else has reported.

You might want to try this.
Reinstall the program and install the update
Then install the bonus packs and extensions.

You might also want to do a scan for a virus or some garbage-ware
Something is interfering on your computer as this is not happening to anyone else.

You can use MMF 1.5 COXs as they are only so you can open old files.
To use the files in MMF2 you need to use the MMF2 version.
