Ok found the file : http://www.castlesoftware.co.uk/downloads/totd3.zip

Couple of different files, but shows you an array file in use.. Hopefully it gives you some idea how it works.

    Jason

PS Ah the only problem might be with the example is that it is for MMF Dev (it was made in 1.5 Pro), you should??? still be able to load it and look at the code

Everyone needs to play the King's Quest and Space Quest games. Otherwise you just don't have enough frustration in your life.
LOL! I know exactly what you mean. All that running back and forth to find the missing clues. Sigh...

Gamer99, one very good aid in assembling your game is to do some notes and drawings (with regular pen and paper) of the game plot itself. That way you'll save lots of headaches and redoings later. [smile]

For inventory I also suggest using arrays.

Thanks Jason! Thats a big help!

I've been writing up my different ideas and I have a basic functioning level working with a guy walking around. The next step I want to handle is dialogue and inventory.

    Thanks for the help everyone!
