    Was anyone ever able to figure out the cause of this?
    Not yet... I've spent some time on this issue and I didn't find yet what to do to avoid this problem. I use standard Windows functions to switch to full screen and I don't see what I could do to avoid the problem. The problem doesn't happen when application is in 1024x768 (well, at least on my machine) so it seems that when the application restores the previous screen mode, Windows looks at the position of the center of the other application windows and if this center is in the second screen, the whole window is transfered to this screen.

    You're right, at 1024x768 the problem doesn't appear. I spent part of the day messing with my nVidia nView dual display software options to see if it was some kind of display driver configuration bug, but I didn't have any luck. It's weird because I have a non-MMF game installed that runs at 640x480 full screen and doesn't have the problem. I'll keep looking to see if it's a system setting and report back if I find anything.

    It's weird because I have a non-MMF game installed that runs at 640x480 full screen and doesn't have the problem.
    Maybe they use DirectX as it seems this problem doesn't happen with DirectX.
