    Transitions on Active System Box?

Is there any technical reason that an Active System Box can't have transitions like regular Actives?

    thanks.

There is no reason why it *couldn't*, because it isn't a Windows Control like the button object. However, I expect it'd take an unfair amount of time for Clickteam to implement it. As far as I know the transitions are a part of the Active Object code, and not accessible to extensions / regular objects.

okay, thanks Joshtek. I was wondering if it was a "nobody asked for it" thing or a "takes a bit of time" thing.

In MMF2 the transitions are accessible to the extension objects, but these objects need to be modified and that hasn't been done for the ASB object. I'm not sure if it's possible with this object, I've to check.

I made a fade transition emulation once, there was an active object with the same image and it faded in, then became invisible and the ASB objects appeared immediately.
