Common Dialog Object : Bugs found ?

Hello,

Ive been experiencing a problem with this object this weekend. Sometime, this object will STOP working.. But the event is random.

Is this object is stable and reliable ? or it is just a bug with mmf2 ?

Anyone else is using this object beside me ?

I've had problems with it not opening the dialogs in MMF2 before. It worked perfectly in MMF 1.5.

Look like i can't use it then. =( Probably a problem in the conversion from MMF 1.5 to MMF2..

Ok its confirmed.

The "Common Dialog Object" have some major issues.. which mean i cannot use it anymore.

Ive tested a created .exe of my editor and the object seem to work only on the first and third, etc... windows im creating with the new map button.

Through in MMF2 it only work from the second windows im creating..

I don't get a bug with the common dialog object, you need to post an example. It could be the way your using it.

What is the way you using it ? The way i use it is simple.. i set starting events to initiate it.. like set title etc.. then i choose open dialog.. will be hard to post an example anyway Yves confirmed the fact that it had this kind of bug.

Yep, I'm also experiencing that whenever you build the mfa, the dialogue doesn't appear. But I do also believe it is random.

Will this object get fixed, since it is a really good extension and I need it for my project.

As for an example..

My event is:

User Clicks Button > Show Open Dialogue

and that's it!

I don't suppose good old Yves or Francois would help us out on this one..?

Yves confirmed the fact that it had this kind of bug

I confirmed someone else reported the problem before, but I can't reproduce it myself, like Joe. Which settings do you have in the setup box of the object?
