    Ah, the problem sounds familiar but I'm not absolutely certain how to solve it. I would have thought that disabling the fire buttons while the animation was playing would avoid that, but it seems not... does anyone else have any ideas?

    I deleted all the events and started from scratch, and i don't have the freeze problem anymore. New problem! I've managed to create rapid-fire on any of my attacks by having the group be re-activated after an attack animation stops. I don't want to be able to hold down on a key and have my character keep punching... is there a way to tell the program that i have to let go of a key before pressing it again?
