Scrolling troubles

Okay, basically I was going to try and use layers for backgrounds until I found out that having a lot of backdrop objects on any layer other than layer 1 will cause the app to slow down. From what I understand this is just the way MMF2 works so instead I decided not to use layers and to use background system boxes instead.

Here is where the real problem starts. It seems that whenever there is even 1 small background system box in a frame it will cause an app to stutter when trying to scroll slowly. The larger the frame is, the worse the stuttering. Anyhow, the important thing is that this does not happen at all in MMF1.5.

This was a problem in an early version of build 243, but it was quickly fixed. Try redownloading it and see if that helps.

Actually I was using build 242. I just downloaded 243 though and it made the problem worse. Now the BSB causes the app to run extremely slow all the time instead of just when the screen was scrolling slowly. And as I said, the same app runs perfectly in MMF1.5.

I guess we weren't really talking about the same problem. Should I upload an example or sumpin'?
