Can you make Global Event Groups?

I've created a group of events that is everything I need for a nice rpg-style textbox: read in a script, progressive text, make the box visible/invisible, next button, etc. I want to use this same textbox in many levels throughout the game, but I don't want to have to manually copy the events to each level. Also, I might change some of the settings in the events, and I don't want to have to rechange the events in every level.

How can I apply the group of events and the objects associated with them to be automatically instantiated in each level? Thanks!

Use the Global Event Editor. There should be information about this in the manual and help documentation.
