    Speed of animation going haywire

I think it's the new beta 243 build, but now for my main character the Falling animation for only the Left direction has become super-fast for now reason...it even seems to be going faster than 100, if its possible. If he's facing Right, however, the animation plays at normal speed. I don't have any events that change his animation speed in this instance. Anyone have any suggestions?

unfortunately, it's about 60 mb right now with the installer (lot's of unecessarily large wav files) so i can't...i was just wondering if this was a common problem with the beta build or in general, but if not, i'll probably just have to make a new "Falling" object for the character.

Well certainly the problem can be reproduced in a new app?
Then Yves and Francois can take a look and correct the problems.

I loaded the character into a blank document, and it actually does the same thing...the left direction animation for "Falling" is way faster than the right. Let me just upload the new one onto a site and i'll post the link...

There's the link to the example file. Like it says in the file, hit "L" to force left direction and "R" to force right. Appreciate the help.

This is really has some odd animations settings in this.
Looping back to odd frame numbers and such -- I can't really make much out of it. I don't even know if it fully demostrates the problem.

So you have something a little more simple?
Like an active object that just changes color to demostrate the problem?

Re: Speed of animation going haywire

There, the same link gives you the updated example file. As you can see, the square that changes colors doesn't change animation speeds when you change its direction. I also changed the Ram's animation to its Running animation, which is just a simple loop. You can see with this animation as well that for some reason the animation speeds up noticably when facing left, but is slower when facing right.

Re: Speed of animation going haywire

For some reason it's just the Ram object that's acting weird, so since I can't replicate the problem in another object, I was wondering if you saw something specific in the Ram one.
