Hey-- I was just curious about doing lighting effects in MMF2....

I made a solid color as the top layer in my frame and switched the ink effect so that it makes the whole scene look like night, but I wanted to have lights in the scene, which would essentially by holes in the "darkness" layer that move around. (like alpha masked, but made of animated objects....)
How can i set this up so multiple holes move around and are cut out of the darkness, creating light areas in the room? Does anyone have an exmple file of this?

CT-- It would be cool if there was a way to set the ink effect for a whole layer at once, so that items on the same layer would all act as a flat layer with one effect, instead of stacking the effects on overlapping objects in the same layer...

It would also be cool to have the "multiply" ink effect that photoshop has. No matter what ink effect I use, I can never make a solid white object invisible, while a black object is fully visible, which is essentially what the multiply in photoshop allows for.

Thanks!
Andy
