If there's packaging for your commercial product, you have to include it both on packaging and in the application, but there's no logo requirement if it's not being sold.

From the Help file (search for "Runtime agreement"):

In order to be able to sell your application, you must include in the software, in the credit page, presentation or end screen, the logo "Created with Multimedia Fusion 2". Additionally, if your application has packaging, the logo "Created with Multimedia Fusion 2" must be on this packaging also. You will find the logo on the Multimedia Fusion 2 CD-ROM in the directory Redist\Logo. Or you will find the logo in the Runtime Agreement file in the download page of Multimedia Fusion 2 on www.clickteam.com.

Are there any applications that don’t have to include the "Created with Multimedia Fusion 2" logo?
Yes. You don’t have to include the logo:

* if your application, game or screen saver is only used within your organization
* if your application is distributed at no cost and provides no commercial or marketing benefit
* if your application is being distributed through the Internet in Vitalize file format (.ccn)

It does go on, with the near-impenetrable list of requirements that I mentioned above, but that's the general idea of it.

That's right, yes - it's an object that I inserted myself.

And so more questions arise!

1. If this only applies to commercial games, would this really count for a teenager selling some games off a CD-R for like 2 bucks each to some friends?

2. (warning: dumb question ahead) Is a CD packaging? Also, would i have to put a logo on a CD case if the CD was in it?

3. You dont have to put a logo on a package with a freeware game in it, right?

1) Legally, you do. If you are selling the app it should have MMF2's name on it.

2) I am not really sure.

3) If you are going to distribute it then yes. But if it stays on your computer, then no.

OK, so 1 is answered, 2 isnt, but 3 doesnt make sense. You say if i distrubute a free game, for no cost, and it doesnt advertise anyone, i dont need to put the logo on the package of the game. But if i keep it on my computer, you say i need to put a logo on a non-existant package (since it stays on my computer, there is no packaging).
