Will this be fixed (MooSock buffering)?

After some time of testing now Im almost sure this doesnt work well.

When you send binary file, the whole file is buffered (dont know where-network card outgoing packets?), MooSocks GetTotalBytes immediately sets itself to the file size (for example 10 MB) and it disconnects. The transfer continues even when you exit the program. The worst aspect is that you cant do Upload status (as in 3EE example it was simple Sent/size, this doesnt work here due to this)

Unlikely, see the wiki for comments.

If you find out otherwise please let us know.

The group that made moosock (3ee) has stopped all work on anything, and their site has disappeared.

I am making a replacement socket extension. I will most likely post the first beta of the client-side object in the next week.

Dynasoft, I think everyone knows the story about 3EE, but that isnt answer on the problem.

The main problem is, that this had to work and after conversion to MMF2 it doesnt. I guess so, I doubt 3EE would have posted corrupt example and this P2P was by them.

Re: Will this be fixed (MooSock buffering)?

If I remember rightly the MMF2 version of moosock and co. was made by clickteam using the jamagic version of mooapi, and so isn't exactly the same as an official version would have been. (It's also a little older version).

So it's probably not the example, but the extension, and there's still nothing anyone can do about it.

Just a clarification did this work in MMF1.5? But now doesn't work in MMF2?
