Crouching Glitch

I am making a simple mario game and enabled the crouching ability. If you press left or right while crouching, he slides about. Although this little bug can be turned into a possible crawling ability, it has created an even wierder glitch: If you slide while crouching and go off an edge, you don't fall. Instead, you float until you stop crouching. Not only that, if you are standing on a platform moving in any direction and crouch, you also float in mid-air. If this floating glitch isn't fixed, then it will be possible to cross gaps without even trying. And where's the fun in that?

Note: I created a paint picture of the glitch, but I don't know how to post it.

Also I have the latest build version.

I just said that to agree with FormerTGFGuy, really, but making a custom platform movement is definitely something to look into once you've finished your first few games and got a feel for MMF2. The default one suffers from a lot of limitations. I have a tutorial that should be coming out soon that demonstrates some ideas.

You should have the Platform Movement Object if you've got the bonus packs and the latest build - look into this, as it replaces the default movement with a quick and easy (yet competent) platform engine.
