Hi i need help seting up a turn based system

I v recently downloaded multimedia fusion2 demo.
Hoping this engine supports making a nice tbs.

Could someone help me how should i set up a simple turn based movement. grid based.
Any tips or suggestion are welcome. I v been trying to set it up but i can't see a way to set up units range of movement and better global selecting.
Any tips r instrnstions are welcome.
And if anyone knows a a site with some demo project featuring any kind of board game, please give me a link. thx in advance.

Tactics move without Extensions.

Be sure to scroll down to the latest file. MMF Build 243 has a bug that prevents the first simple solution for the range to work properly. Let's have a look if Build 244 will fix this

There is also an old example in the file archives of the old Clickteam board. Uses several extensions for that though. And was made in MMF 1.5. MMF2 crashes at it.
