Help on Using Image Manipulator Extension Please?

Hi, I'd like to create a very simple image editor for my own personal use (and out of the need to escape my screaming kids and do something that uses SOME part of what's left of my brain!).

Can anyone please point me in the direction of any instructions or tutorial on using the Image Manipulator Extension? The included help file doesn't give practical how-to for a complete NOOB and dummy mummy like me who can't seem to find any way to make a picture VIEWABLE once loaded, after trying Active Object, Active Picture Object etc.

Sorry to all you experienced MMFD's who get frustrated at people like me for needing such basic help and information LOL :-s And thanks kindly to anyone who can help in any way

There is an example: C:\Program Files\Multimedia Fusion 2\Examples\ImageManipulator\image.mfa

If you want to use a free image editor not made in MMF2, I'd try GIMP and Paint.NET.
