Hopefully the emails to sales get thru to the company and they pass them along to the programmers.

Its complete crap you can't contact anyone about a problem with their product without a serial number.

I am also trying to register on their forum
    http://forum.grisoft.cz/freeforum/index.php

But this seems odd.. where is the link to sign up?

I found this on the forum:
If you suspect a file to be a false positive. Test the file at [virusscan.jotti.org] and if it is a false positive, archive (zip, arc, tar etc) the file using a password and email a copy to virus@grisoft.com with a brief description as well as the password you used to archive it with.

If it is a false positive , turn off hueristic scanning for the time being. When Grisoft adjusts the virus defintions you can turn it back on. If turning off Hueristics still doesn't allow access to the file while testing and emailing... disable the resident shield temporarily.
BTW, I think you register here.

    A scan at Jotti gives:
    AntiVir Found nothing
    ArcaVir Found nothing
    Avast Found nothing
    AVG Antivirus Found Generic2.RRH
    BitDefender Found nothing
    ClamAV Found nothing
    Dr.Web Found nothing
    F-Prot Antivirus Found nothing
    F-Secure Anti-Virus Found nothing
    Fortinet Found nothing
    Kaspersky Anti-Virus Found nothing
    NOD32 Found nothing
    Norman Virus Control Found nothing
    VirusBuster Found nothing
    VBA32 Found Backdoor.Agent.35 (probable variant)

Just got this e-mail from AVG:
    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Thank you for your email.

The file you have sent us is really being detected falsely by AVG. This
false detection will be removed in the next update of AVG.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Best regards,

Re: AVG Antivirus claims MMF2 files to be trojans.

That's good news. I just received the same warning from AVG on some apps I created last year with MMF 1.5. My 2.0 apps aren't reported, however, which makes me wonder if it's a specific object that is causing the false positive.

Blank MMF 1.5 apps are reported for me, but not blank MMF 2 apps.

Re: AVG Antivirus claims MMF2 files to be trojans.

spyfrog: are you seeing AVG warnings with apps built with MMF2 or just MMF? If MMF2, could you post a stripped down version so that we can see what is causing it?

I just created a MMF2 application with every posible object available in MMF2 and the expansion packs and cannot get AVG to report a problem, though I can with MMF1.5, so unless there is a third-party extension that is causing this, my guess is that this is limited to MMF1.5?

Okay, it seems like the latest update has fixed the false-positive problem.
