Drag Window Widget Revisited (for Build 243)

Greetings.

Now that the Window Control, (Build 243 and up) has Alterable Values and Strings, an opportunity has come to start exploring some MMF2 Widget ideas.

Using a behavior and the Alterable Values of the object, I have saved a version that I call Drag Window Widget. There is a little documentation in the comments in the behavior.

The point is, DWW eliminates the need for a special extension for dragging a window under special circumstances, e.g., from other places than the title bar or when using the Window Shape Object. It also eliminates the need to re-event the functionality each time you need it.

In the MMF2 "lib" folder, I have created a folder called, Widgets. Now, when I need it, I can simply drag it, after double-clicking the MFA, into my project.

I hope this inspires other users to consider the potential here of "extending" extensions to get more out of them.

I imagine you could get more complex functionality by using this technique with more than one object that has AV's and AS's and placing them in an app as library objects that can be dragged and dropped into an application together as "parts" of a set of features.

EDIT: Seems that my drag window object doesn't have alterable values :S I have the latest MMF2 version, build 243 - and the example file opens fine and I can see the alterable values. But I can't actually create my own it seems.

reinstall the last B243.

I pretty sure some of the bonus packs have been updated, also. not sure if this would solve any problems.

Yeh re-installed 243 and worked fine now - thanks!
Might have been because I had the BETA version installed and so MMF2 didn't update to the final release or something.
