Sound Filters Disappeared

Hi there,

I've just noticed something very strange: I seem to have no sound filters available in MMF2 anymore. I just noticed when trying to add sounds to my game - when I went to preview the sound, no noise came out. This was strange, as I had just played the sound in another program.

It turns out that, where before I had the standard list of sound filters in the Sound Filter box, there is now only a big white empty space. I've no idea what might have caused this - do any of you have any idea how I might get the filters back into MMF? I'm stumped.

I'm running the latest build, if that helps.

The only thing I can think of is to try re-installing MMF2 and build 243.

I am having the same problem. Can't play any of the .wav files. I am using the latest build.

This is a long shot but try removing all the filters from the relevant directory and adding them back oner at a time to see if it lists any of them when they are on their own.

Which directory are these filters in?

Did that, still not working.

Okay, I found the problem. If you turn on "Data Execution Prevention" for all programs and services and do not add MM2 to the list the sound stops working.
