    Replace color with active picture?

    Heya,

    I have a lot of external picture files that I'd like to load into my game using the active picture object. The problem is, you can't seem to replace the color of anything in the active picture - does anyone know of a workaround for this, so I could replace colors of the displayed picture?

    You may need to use the overlay reduxe object. But I'm not sure. Anyone else know a way?

    Overlay object can do this!

    But the overlay object can only load up BMPs eh? Is there a fast way of storing everything as PNGs, then having something like the image manipulator convert it to a BMP for the benefit of the overlay object? Although that seems like it could slow things down somewhat.

    Also, I'm not really that familiar with the overlay object. Are there any examples floating around that might help with manipulating the color of images within the object?

    Ah, well I've just found the 'Load Frame' action for the active object. This sounds like it can do everything I want it to do!
