File object help!

When i open the "open file selector" in mmf (run applacition) with the File object it look like this:


But when i have built the app to an .exe it look like this:

If you look at his source code he does not use the file selector to get his image. He uses Get Image From Selector from the Active Picture object.

It's a rather strange problem I'll admit. I ran your source code on my copy of Multimedia Fusion 2 Developer and I got the same set of results.

However I placed an Active Picture object on to a blank canvas, compiled it and DID NOT get those issues. I'll take a look in to it for you

OK I seem to have fixed the problem for you, although you'll need to re-enter some of your code. I copied all your objects into a brand new mfa file and linked up the Find button to the Image Selector and its working. I tried compiling it and it works also. I have attached the file that I made for you to this post but as I said you will need to re-code your other few buttons again. Looking at your code it shouldn't take you very long at all; I would do it for you but I'm busy at the moment

Ok, yes it works. But this was just a sup-app frame from one big application.

So when I tried to copy your work it got the same result in the big app.

I think that it has something to do with the properties of the whole app. The file I uploaded later had the properties of the whole app.

Do you understand my english? im from sweden .

Open the properties of your main application, select the Image Filters property, unselect "Automatic" and select all the filters you need. That should work (by default MMF2 doesn't include the graphic filters if your application doesn't include picture objects).
