    Scrolling erases pasted images :(

I've had this problem in TGF, MMF and now in MMF2 (Demo version) there still is that problem.

If I make a game where you can punch holes into walls (background objects that are obstacles) so that they are made with "paste into background: not an obstacle" or if I want to make like deployable ladders or obstacles by pasting an active object into backgroud everything works well as long as it doesn't scroll.

But when you scroll so that the pasted images go of screen and come back, they'll be disappeared ...Is there something to prevent this? Or does some patch correct this?

Instead of Paste Backdrop, use Add Backdrop. You'll find that the pasted objects now stay when you scroll.

Thanks! I'll try that when I get home (at the moment I'm at school)

Only problem with that is if you have TONS of stuff being added (like tons of zombie corpses). There should be a way to paste the image into the background, but not have it be erased, like pasting the image into an overlay (that would actually be an underlay). That way it takes up the same amount of space no matter how many objects have been pasted.

Well, what will happen is MMF will eventually stop adding to the background and will instead paste into background (where new zombies will be erased after you go off screen)

Thanks for the informations =) ...So I should make so that the most important things (holes in the walls etc.) are beíng created as backdrops and less important (blood stains, bullet shells) are pasted into background.

I wonder how big the limit of the created backdrop objects is then... But that I can test myself quite easily

It's given by the "maximum number of objects" option in the frame properties. I guess we could add a different property, that would be better.
