Using Sub-Application Object to Split an App

Sorry for so many recent posts everyone, there is just so much going on right now!

Ok, I had an idea but it seems so brilliant that there has to be a catch. You see I have a game with a lot of modes and selection screens. So would it make sence for me to divide each mode in my app intoa different app? For example have a different app for 1 player, 2 player, mini-games and options? Then I would have 1 app with a few sub-application objects. Then I could just switch the application in the sub-app whenever a new mode is selected?

So like I said, there has to be some catch or bug with doing this, right? It would save a bunch of filespace as far as the main app itself goes.

Well, no idea is perfect . But other than that nobody thinks that there will be many problems?
