    BUG - Importing Object From Another Frame, Bad Obj

    Just reporting to see if you know about this.
    Just imported a object from another frame in the event editor. (This object was in the same application), and it's apparently caused a bad object, corrupting the entire frame.

    Using:
    Multimedia Fusion Developer, Latest Patch that downloaded via the auto updater.

    The Object had the following in the properties:

    * Alterable Value A defaults at 128.
    * Several Events in the Behaviour Editor.
    * Two frames of animation.

    When I attempt to load the application again, it complains that the frame has an error and deletes it and all the frames that came after it. Manually deleting the frame before saving a new file doesn't cause the deletion of the later frames.

    I was originally trying to create the object at a certain point, and doing a quick lazy streak I imported it via the event editor instead of the frame editor. I ain't doing that again.

    After deleting the frame the game is otherwise unaffected.

    So, yea, just a quick bug report.

    Unreleated Question:
    Is it possible to turn off the "double click resizes object/rotates it" in the frame editor?
    It's... very.. annoying. It's not a time saver at all. It wastes time if anything.
    I managed to bug up a game not long ago thanks to accidently resizing a detector, by a pixel. It took ages and much hair pullign to even release what happened.

    Just curious, but how did you import an object through the event editor? I usually just either copy and paste or drag and drop...?

    I have just tried to import an object from another frame, and it works perfectly. Can you reproduce the problem with your application, and if yes, can you send me your application?

    Which leads me to believe that this problem is due to him using an MMF 1.5 application, imported over to MMF 2.0 and then that's where the problem is. Right? Importing an object from a corrupted application, corrupted by MMF 1.5? :confused:

    I say this because I haven't had this problem at all with MMF 2.0. Not saying it's not entirely possible though.

    Re: BUG - Importing Object From Another Frame, Bad Obj

    Nothing to do with MMF1.5, the application is all MMF2.0

    Maybe I either explained things wrong.. or typed the wrong word entirely, (it happens, my brain is a little muddled when it comes to words.)

    Ok, heres exactly what happened:

    Event Editor:
    Event - Action = "Create Object *insert object*"
    From the object list, I chose an object from another frame, rather than add the object to the frame I was editing.

    The object has events coded into both Global Events and inside itself.
    (Collecting the object in GE, and Physics for falling in the Object's Event Editor respectively.)

    It did this fine. I ran the frame, when the event occured, nothing happened.
    When I loaded the event editor again, all the events were missing and it was telling me I had a bad object. No changes made to the event editor (or the event editor list) made any difference, the bad object still existed.

    Hope that helped.
    Francis: I can send you the actual game itself, its not that large, if its any help.
