    Physics object question

Hi, just a quick question about the physics object (but you watch, it'll find a way to become one of those 10 page topics, lol)

Will the physics object be Vitalized?

I don't think it is possible to do so becuase it requires an external dll.

    Re: Physics object question

If it becomes a popular enough extension, I should imagine Yves and Francois will simply add the dll and extension to what's default for the Vitalize Runtime.

Talk to them about it and see if they'd agree to include the dll in a subsequent build of Vitalize, if it's used frequently enough by the users.

    Re: Physics object question

Or maybe this extension can be built to include this dll... ?

    Re: Physics object question

Some of the stuff in that demo is physics based, and some of it is more graphics based.

One of the problems that MMF 2 has is displaying the physics results. I mean what good is cloth simulation if you can only work with sprites?

    Re: Physics object question

You're going to include a cloth simulator??? Woa!

You could make it so we have to loop through a certain number of times, and each time it gives a different pixel that the cloth covers? Nevermind, that was stupid.

What would be really cool is a fluid simulator. It might be too slow though.

    Re: Physics object question

No, I am not going to include a cloth simulator.

Fluids are impossible to simulate dynamically in MMF 2. MMF 2 is far too slow to handle such things.

I think I responded in the wrong topic anyway. I meant to reply to that physics demo post :P.
