Re: Bug R244#2: OR causes inconsistent selection

    I love you Francois.

Sorry for this discussion, it's because when we like something, we want it to be the best and as everyone know here, Clickteam is the best.

And I know that some tutorials will be made for let's understand the difference between both OR to everyone.

Re: Bug R244#2: OR causes inconsistent selection

OK I have done the modifications in MMF for the two kinds of OR. They will be public in the next version of the build.

I have redone the examples you gave in this thread to show the difference between the two OR. Of course, only try them when you have the new version of MMF.

    Some notes:
-> If you mix two kinds of OR in one event, the first encountered kind of OR will be applied throughout the event
-> You should not mix in the same event with OR true events and normal events : for the logical OR it will work OK, but for the filtered OR the behavior will be erratic, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Re: Bug R244#2: OR causes inconsistent selection

    true events = events
    normal events = condition

    That's right ?

If you mix two kinds of OR in one event, the first encountered kind of OR will be applied throughout the event
I understand that (I've think about this problem), and I think that's a good solution.

    You are great Francois.

Close enough. True events show up in red.

Would it be possible to have true events show up in red in the menus too? That would be useful in trying to tell them apart.

Re: Bug R244#2: OR causes inconsistent selection

How satisfying! Refactoring here I come (next release)!

    Thanks a lot Francois!
You know how we are.. if you reach us one finger.. we want a proper finger, with all the whistles and bells.. and also the other finger that is almost like the first finger but does things a little bit different - and we also expect the rest of the hand in later releases!

Next click convention you can slap me around for starting this whole discussion
