"Simple" question about list object transparency.

    Hi!

Is it possible to have a "list object" " transparent, so we can see whats behind it?

    See, is a simple question...

    Thanx!

Not that I know of, but a simple way around this is:

Create the list box off-screen. Then use 5 or so strings to display

    List box selection - 2
    List box selection - 1
    List box selection
    List box selection + 1
    List box selection + 2

Then just add some scroll bar or way of navigating it. It might look a bit nicer too, if you're using it in a game.

    Edit:
Here is an example I made a while ago which just simply recreates a list nicely.

(save target as, or it will open in QuickTime)

    THX.

Nice coding and nice effect, but a little innefective for what i'm doing.

Has you can see, i use the "listo bject" to get a list of cards that are in graveyard, side-deck... and double-click in it to select that card. But this object would look prettier if it was transparent and you can see the background

Does someone have any other ideas?

    THX.

Hmm, you could use a list of strings that appear when you make the menu appear. That way you could have an image appear with each list item as well.
