What drawing App to use?

Does anyone know of any good apps to make good menu's ,GUI, buttons for apps.
I am trying to get that smooth curved feel in the menu's.
Hope ou know what I mean.
I'm using psp7 but don't seem to get that profesional Finish.

Actually I used Photoshop for my layouts. This is the method I found that worked best for me:

Of course, this is just example, but the method works well for making a nice GUI / interface as well ^_^

Another good one is real draw Pro. You can do 2d and 3d with an excellent selection of shadows bevels and textures etc. I have a
