Layer get's my game to 0-1 FPS!

    Hi!

My game actually runs at 10-13 FPS.

But, if i create a layer to put the background image behind the "Main Layer" the game get's "up" to a fabulous 0-1 frames per second

Is there any way to solve this?

I want to create a random background, so i've tryed to put an active image in a layer behind the "main layer" that loads a random image. I've put it to work, but the game gets reeeeaaalllllyyyyyy slllllooooowwwwwwwwww.........

Is there a way to create a random background that doesn't hurt the SPEED?

    THX.

Possibly using the Active System Box, but I can't remember offhand whether it can change its image at runtime.

    Nein. It can't.

Also, is there a possibility to see the code? Because God knows what you're doing besides loading an image.

Well, i even don't need to put nothing in the back layer.

My main layer is number 1 and i have another layer above this one, the number 2.

If i create a new clean layer behind number 1(main layer), then the main layer becomes the number 2 and th other number 3. Then i have the superb frame rate of 3 frames per second. I just need to create a clean layer behind the main one....(???)

    Weird...

If you can post an example that would be cool. Also are you running the latest build?

    Thanks

Collision tests are handled differently if they happen on first layer or on any other, are you doing collision detection on the second layer ?
