    Please help! Clicks and Pops

    Basically heres whats happening:

WHen you set the volume to 0 in the settings menu, you can still here clicks and pops when you switch over to one of the engines in the application. Only happens with the sound effects. YOu can replicate the problem by doing the following:

    1) Run the Application
    2) Hit Enter until you get to the main menu
    3) Hit Enter to bring up the config menu (all the volumes are set to 0)
    4) Exit Full Screen, PRess F8 to bring the menu bar back and go to the Debug menu (any one of them)
    5) Even though the volumes are set to 0, you can still here chirps from sound effects.

Any ideas as to whats going on or as to why you can still hear these chirps and clicks? Any input would greatly be appreciated!

must be your sound card or system, tested here and it works fine, there are no clicks or noises one they have all been set to 0
and there are only 2 sonic games that arent total crap made in MMF, 1 is some jamie c or something (time attack ?) and the other is yours, it actually has megadrive-like effects (parralex, etc)... keep up the good work

Hmm, I'll try it again on my wife's computer, she has a Soundblaster Live! which should be ok... I ran mine on a Dell 1501 Laptop w/ SigmaTel Audio (low-end sound card) so that very well could do it... thanks neat!

PS: THanks for the kudos! I was going for the Genesis feel since those were the last good Sonic games IMO ^_^; Long live the Mega Drive!
