    The CaptureCam Extension

    This is the CaptureCam Extension!

A extension developed for MMF 1.5 which has know made it to MMF 2 , once done Gamesare will release for public use for free, I don't have a webcam any more so my testing has been limited, Hence this post, as I come before you the Great Clickteam Extension builders to test, probe and punish this extension into perfection

Any testing that can be done would be greatly appreciated, you will need of course a Webcam in order to test..., we are currently looking to establish the following...

    A. Make sure it works
    B. It works with Various Webcams

Any comments would be of great help, thanks!

    Re: The CaptureCam Extension

Doesn't work with my webcam, no image is displayed. However I suspect that's because I have used two webcams on this computer (the one that is disconnected is the 'default' according to a webcam tester utility and there seems to be no way to select a source).

    Re: The CaptureCam Extension

It works with my webcam but the frame rate is very very low (7-8 fps).

It could be nice to have the possibilitie to get pixel colors at coordinates and/or paste the captured picture into an overlay redux.

    Nice work

It works fine in preview, and mediocre in record. But I can't find the recorded files...

I'll see if I can get my webcam to work and try it.
    It might be very useful.

    Re: The CaptureCam Extension

When I speak about frame rate, I speak about the application frame rate. When this extension work, the application fall to 7-8 fps (I have a core 2 duo 2x2GHz).

Is it possible to optimize it to have a frame rate like 30-60fps ? Because actually, it's impossible to make a game with it.

I've noticed that the window of the video webcam is rendered on the front of all other objects... Is it possible to let us change this to be able to put actives object on the front ?
