    Problem with 256 colours and Alpha Channels

    Okay so I've just converted my game to 256 colours to see if it would look okay as it saves lots of memory and speeds the game up lots. It seems to look okay apart from a few things here and there, however, there is a big problem...
    I go to edit an object that has an alpha channel (I'm talking about in the picture editor here), I press 'OK' and then the object becomes justan alpha channel image without any colours on top! It's madness! So you end up with these sort of silhouettes of the objects. : / Is there anything I can do about this??

    Hmm... you are right there is a problem, I'll try to fix it in the next build.

    Just for info though, usually alpha channels in 256 color mode give bad results.

    Well for those who are having the same problem, there is a way around it:
    Import the alpha channeled image into an application with 16 million colours, then copy paste the object into your 256 colour game and it will come in unharmed. : )

    I had the same problem some time ago... Alpha channel color depth

    You'll find a nice tap there.
