Replace / update sounds in program

    Hey everyone,

I tried finding some info on this in the forums but wasn't able to. If this has been asked/addressed please forgive and perhaps point me to that thread.

Let's say that our program has a sound used throughout the program and we've edited it recently (changed the sound file). Without going through the entire program in the event editor and manually replacing/updating the file everywhere it's used, is it possible to simply have MMF2 auto-update? Meaning could it go back to the directory where you first loaded the sound file and "re-grab" it so that it's the new version of the sound?

I've read people referring to keeping sound files external to avoid this dibocle all together, but is the any solution for those that wish to have the sound internal?

    Many thanks to everyone.

    Easy!

Go into the data elements editor and you can replace the sound file.

If you can't find it -- Its under the view menu in the editor list.
