autostart installer

Hi, Can you tell me how i would go about creating an Autostart on the install from a cd, so that when a user inserts the cd with my install icon on it,it automatically start the install process with out the user having to click the icon or take any action to start the process? I have tried placing a txt inf file on the cd eg.
"[autorun]
open= demo.exe" where my install icon on the cd is named "demo", when the cd loads it just opens to the install file on the cd showing the install icon ehich then has to be clicked to start the install!

Are you using a CDR to test this? You may find if you are, only once you have closed the disk (no more data can be written to it) via the cd writing software will the autorun work

No the cd is closed eg. no more data can be written to it. I want the installer to startup when the cd is inserted but not in silent mode.

Its OK its sorted, I didn't put the autorun file in the root folder of the cd. It works now

By the way if you want the cd to have the same icon as your program you can add this to the autorun.inf

[autorun]
Open=demo.exe
icon=demo.exe
