[Question] Virtual Frame size vs real frame size

Is it better to resize the frame size to match the real size of the playfield or is it better to keep the frame size at the minimum (like 32x32) and set the virtual width and height to "-1" (infinite) ?

It usually depends on what kind of game your making if I understand you correctly.

All is done at runtime.
No backdrops are on the frame, there is only some overlays and active objects.
