[HELP] effects in my platformer

I'm making my first platformer.

anyway

In the game I want to create feelings using music and various visual effects etc.

I need help with:

- shadows (especially those caste by moving object)and other light effects.

- fog that changes randomly (I can just make animations, but having it be random would be nice)

- water that doesn't just follow the same boring animation loop (kinda like with the fog).

- bridges that shift under the wait of the character

- I'll add to the list if I think of anything else.


I'm kind a bit of a noob so try to make any help you give me simple (or well explained).

There is a very nice example on shadows in The Games Factory File Archive section of this forum. As for the other effects, you might be able to achieve them using the overlay redux object.

I looked at all the examples in that thread. I'm still completely confused on how to do the shadows so I'm going to wait until I gain a little more experience with MMF2 before I try to do them.
