    [request] Pseudo-File extension

[color:#666666]Hey all. I have an idea for a somewhat strange extension. The extension would basically act as a pseudo-directory, allowng the program to save files to the extension so that they are not actually created on disk. Basically, the extension should be able to have files saved to it and loaded from it. I thought it would go something like this:
    Code:
     Actions:
    Save Pseudo-File
    Load Pseudo-File

    Conditions:
    Are Pseudo-Files Saved?
    Compare File Name

    Expressions:
Get Pseudo-File Name (File Index 1-10)
It could have a whole lot more. If anyone thinks they can code this, please try. It would be great to have an extension like this.

    Sorry but I don't understand.
Are you just trying to save some data in memory for a bit?

No, I think he means save it in the application it's self. That, is very risky, and can cause file corruption. And it would still use disk space, too.

That i was afraid of. The binary object can do what i am asking. I suppose I should look harder beforeI suggest an extension.

"That, is very risky, and can cause file corruption" - Not at all if it is done properly. Bad practice though, you might say.

(Edit: I am aware this isn't what the request was about.)
