    Date & time object problem

    Hi,

I am using the date & time object on a form and have the face set on digital display. The clock shows the current time when the application is run but when updated the numbers overlap. If it is 8:04 and the time changes to 8:05 the five writes on top of the four and the numbers gets unreadable.

How can I fix this so that it refreshes then updates the time so it is readable?

    Thanks in advance.

It is generally best if you get the time from it and use it on normal counters or a string object, these will not have the problem and you can customise how it looks better

Is "Save background" enabled (must be)?

    If yes:

What's your background (System box ...)?

Re: Date & time object problem

Thanks for the quick reply. The Save background is not enabled though the same thing happens if enabled or not.

I used an edit box to display the time and this updates no problem.

I guess to show AM or PM an if statement should be used to calculate less than or greater than 12?
