I think it's obvious that Vitalize WILL have updates after it is released, like MMF2 and any other software.

As long as it will never ask anyone for permission to download extensions, I don't mind :P
It shouldn't bother the regular users with messages like those.

Although, I haven't really paid attention, was that removed in Vitalize 3 already, or is it still there?

The user could tick a "never bug me again" box.

    Re: Vitalize 4 - MMF2

Well, originally Vitalize 4 was designed so that this dialog box is not displayed anymore, but I had to display it again with Vista because on Vista a plugin cannot install files to system directories, as the browser is executed with normal privileges. So on Vista (only), there are now 2 dialog boxes instead of one, one to alert the user Vitalize is going to install extensions, and another one displayed by Vista to ask the user for confirmation it can run the installer that installs these extensions. I guess we'll make a full version of the installer with all the extensions so that Vista users are less bothered by these dialog boxes.

I heard before that hardware acceleration would be implemented after vitalize 4 was finished. Is this still the case?
    Yes.

I'm guessing vitalize 4 would then need to be modified further in order to support hardware acceleration, or won't it support it?
The first version won't support it (of course), but I think it should be possible to implement it later.
