Questions about a few things...

I've had ordered my genuine copy of MMF2 (thanks Yves for alerting me that my previous one was pirated!), and so I was just wondering a few things:

1) In TGF(original, not 2) there was a bug with handling qualifiers which, sometimes if you put for example, "Object 1 collides with [qualifier]", and then "Destroy [qualifier]", it would destroy an unrelated object that had the same qualifier. Is this fixed? EDIT: Also, when restarting the current frame, if the scrolling wasn't at top-left, it would glitch up... is this fixed too? (If not, it's definately easy enough to get around, but still)

2) With "Spread Value", will it always spread in the same combination? Ie: The same object will always get value 1, same object will always get value 2, etc.

3) More a suggestion than a question, I think... maybe the developer should be able to change the names in the set controls menu. Eg: instead of saying "Fire 1", "Fire 2", etc, they could rename these to something more useful, like "Jump", "Shoot", etc. Or is this already possible?

2) I wouldn't rely on it.

2) Yes, it spreads the values in the order the objects are created, either if they were created in the frame editor or through events. The latest object created always gets the lowest value, and the first one gets the highest.

Actually the order it spreads values to objects that were created in the frame editor seems to depend on their edit-time Z order, not the order they were created in.

Of course most objects will get their value re-arranged if one is destroyed, because spread value doesn't leave gaps. (EDIT: If you spread again, obviously they won't change on their own)

If you want a permanent object reference then use the object's "fixed value".
