    Re: MMF2 Build #245

Downloading the 2nd version now. The first one broke my game, I'm going over the events to pinpoint exactly where it broke.

It's all in the swimming engine I built for a game I'm working on. When the player can't swim they're supposed to bob around on the surface, but now they just descend underwater. When the player gets the swim ability they just sit fixed in the position they landed in the water.

Like I said I don't know exactly where it has gone wrong. It was working perfectly up until R245.

Edit: Crisis over! Just installed the update and all is well now. Must have been that 'overlapping' bug.

PS: there will be another beta later today probably, as there is another issue with the Is Overlapping condition and objects' hot spots... sorry...

Works fine for me, could you send me your example?

About the Button Object : Is it possible to move the brighter shadow of the button text when disabled 1 pixel up? It looks not correct, then it's perfect and the same as the standard button.

    - Animation editor : speed & repeat options not copied when you copy/paste a direction.

    - All objects : new Create At Start property. If this property is not selected, the object is not created when the frame starts.

    - Runtime : when you modify the virtual size of the frame, the limits for the "Destroy if too far" option were not updated.

    - Runtime : Negated "Is overlapping" condition did not report TRUE when the second object was not created in the application

    - Button object : new Text + Bitmap style, and alignment properties to arrange text & image together.

    - Button object : new Tooltip property (works in Text and Text+Bitmap modes).
I love you so much CT !

I don't want to download just yet, but I'm confuzed - the record thing records to a new frame in the storyboard editor? Or is it to a file...?

    Edit: Cool! Beta 3!

However I would like to make a suggestion make it even better and more fun to use. Put the record button on the Play bar and menu bar, like the Run Frame button. I think this is a feature, that needs to be more easily accessible. I also would like to see a playback button on the toolbar for instant playbacks. Each recording should be recorded in a separated numbered file in the playback directory. ie rec1 rec2 etc. These little features would make a designs job with playback a pleasure. Now if the designer presses playback then they get the last recording, if they right click they get a drop down list. Alternatively a drop button could be used.

    Oh and
    2. a condition, to determine when a demo file has finished playing.
    3. actions to start recording a demo and stop recording in the game.

I know this is extra work for you clickteam, but it would be really, really cool.

    Thanks
    That answer your question, Sphax?

Great work, Clickteam! Thanks for the updates! I think I'll be using some of these new features in the game I'm working on.

Sphax, the record button is in the properties for each frame of the application. I didn't know where it was either. I looked at what Yves said in the first post of the thread.

EDIT: LB, the record feature records to a file. It records to the file that you specify in the "Demo file" box in the frame properties of the frame you're recording.
