[Bug] Button object

To illustrate the bugs of buttons object, this is a screenshot :


- 1 or 2 pixels are truncated at the bottom of buttons
- Highlight effect for text and image button don't work

Is it possible to move the brighter shadow of the button text when disabled 1 pixel up? It looks not correct, then it's perfect and the same as the standard button.

Sphax, the line at the bottom has been truncated intentionally because some themes like the standard XP theme display a background line at this position and this background is usually different from the background color. I don't know at all what we can do to fix this issue.

But why buttons in the dialog box are ok ?

Is this appear because the background button is transparent ?

If so, maybe an option should be added to activate/deactivate the transparent background ? and set the color of it...

What is the color of this line ? Is it a system color ? is it the transparent color of the button skin ?

Buttons in dialog boxes are OK because they are drawn over a themed background. The background of the frame is not drawn with the theme of Windows.

AFAIK there is no option to draw a button as transparent, that's the problem, the background is drawn by the routine that displays the button.

The color of the line depends on the theme. I think it can even be a gradient.

So maybe an option could be added to the button object to draw it on a themed background ? This themed background will only be under the button ?
