[silly] how to double the size of the display?

hi I need to display as doubled the window size of my game

->> 320x240 frame displayed as 640x480

so I ticked on the resize the display to fit the window's size in app display properties

it was ok once I enlarged the frame (logically)

so I decided to use a sub-app in order to display a portion of a bigger frame trough the same settings

but the sub-app is still 1:1 (see attachment)

how I can make it display 2:1 as the rest of the frame
OR
any other methods to have scrolling games (with bigger frames) with 320x240 as 640x480 display settings?
