    transparent trasitions

    hey people!

i got a simple question, how can i make transparent trasitions?

because, using normal trasitions, it shows a black background, which is very ugly.

    thanks!

Just set the color you want it to transition to in the Transition Selection screen. By default it is set to black , but you can set it to any color you want, or use the background already on there.

Just create the fade-in transition of the second frame, but don't create the fade-out transition of the first frame. Example:

    1. frame
    (There isn't fade-out)

(There is the fade-in of the 2.frame)
    2.frame

Do you mean the active objects? Or do you mean Active Pictures, Active System boxes etc?

These have an extra property - Create before Frame fade-in - or not, as you choose.

    Re: transparent trasitions

The transition to the second frame is a still shot until the next frame loads. It's not a fluid, both frames run as it goes over. So things like fallow frame and stuff wont work until the frame actually starts, putting the screen at 0,0 and such.

I don't know how to explain it, maybe someone else could? I think I got a good start.
