    MMF2 - detect keys if application is focused off

    How to detect keys on keyboard that player clicked if application is focused off? Is there any way? It was working on mmf 1.5....

    It might be easier to ask what you're trying to do, and then see if there's a way to work around it to get there. What are you trying to do?

    How did you do it in MMF 1.5?
    Then maybe we can see exactly what objects might have been changed that do not allow this now.

    in MMF 1.5, i used the extension "Virtual Key" to detect if the key had been pressed, but this extension isnt for MMF 2, so im not sure how you would do it!

    my friend asked me, that am I able to make program, that logs all keys because he has son and he want to know what is he writting (lol, poor guy xd). As I said, that was working on mmf 1.5 but it had been fixed... Is there any way?

    There are products, called keyloggers, that do exactly that.

    You would need to create a virtual key object if that is what you used in MMF 1.5 and it does not exist in version 2.

    Might be easier to just use one of the many freeware/shareware monitoring software to monitor what the kid is doing.

    Many of these will go way beyond anything you could create using an authoring tool.

    they could transform Virtual Key to MMF2 ext. type, don't u think?
